you should try going vegan i know it sounds really weird and people think it's a diet but its a lifestyle when i initially did it it was pretty hard because i limited my self so much because i was eating 3 times a day sometimes 2 and i would still not see any changes though my skin got sooo much better i still felt uncomfortable in my clothes but my best friend has been vegan for years and when she asked me how i was eating she got really mad and shocked, you're not supposed to limit yourself on a plant based lifestyle your supposed to eat when you feel hungry and the best part is you can eat whatever you want, lasagna , pastas, cakes, burgers, pizza anything can be made vegan you only need to know how to season it

Include high protein in your morning smoothie, no processed sugar, monk fruit is ok. AVOID WHEY PROTEIN! It’s detrimental to our hormone production. Preferably animal proteins and animal collagen. Bovine, chicken, fish, and eggshell proteins are great options. UMZU has some great choices. I’m not affiliated in any, it’s what I use. Good luck!

You should check out Abbey's Kitchen here on PLto! She has really helped my relationship with food. She's all about something she calls the "hunger crushing combo" of fiber, healthy fats, and protein. For what it's worth, the breakfast sandwich is a really good choice based on that framework, you can just add some berries or maybe some greens to up the fiber content and boost the satiety factor. Loved this video! Just my unsolicited two cents .. stress is one of the top causes of inflammation. It seems that your eating habits are a form of a coping mechanism to your stress. When you take away your coping mechanism, your stress goes up and your inflammation goes up and your body can hold on to more weight/get more inflamed. I don’t think food is your “issue.” You seem like you blame and judge yourself a lot on this subject, and I just want to say that maybe it’s not you. Maybe you’re not the “problem,” maybe it’s the people you surround yourself with that are hurting you and you’re having a hard time facing that reality so you turn to your comforts to cope, and your blaming your comforts(like food) and yourself as the “problem,” but you wanting food and alcohol is a symptom of the problem. Not the problem. I don’t think your lifestyle is the issue babe. I really think specific types of therapy would help you best in this situation 🧡 best of luck.

I can’t explain to you how much I relate to all of this. I’m literally almost 100 pounds heavier and it’s affected EVERYTHING. Having a spouse who doesn’t understand or give you the support you need makes it SO much harder. When you struggle with mental health and food is your coping mechanism, it makes it a million times harder to change the way we eat. For some people like me that doesn’t look like overeating but instead choosing the wrong things to eat. I’m not satisfied unless I’m eating something with sugar, dairy or anything that’s just NOT healthy. My entire mood changes when I don’t have the food I’m craving. People who don’t have this problem don’t recognize us choosing 2 healthy meals and one less healthy meal as a victory. Instead they pick apart the less healthier meal we chose. Keep pushing!!!

I was about 177 and am now 120... and I have to say, it IS uncomfortable. Being overweight is exhausting. And painful. I vary between 120-130 now and don't check as much, I'm suuuuper short so 115lbs is actually my ideal weight (ha ha ha). The weight creeps up soooo fast though. I was 120 then 130 and I was like shit, you really have to have a "line" you are not going to cross when you lose your weight. You get down to 160? Good. You're never seeing 170 ever again. Then aim for 150 and so on. And not going to lie the "9" plateaus SUCK, like... you're at 159 and just going from 159-161 every few days. ANYWAYS good luck. Do it to feel good. That's the jist of it. HEALTH.

I love how real this is, everyone else posts kale salads and work out routines, this is the REAL way dieting and changing your life style is. It effects your daily life, your work, your family and loved ones. I appreciate you putting yourself in this vulnerable position. Greedy corporate companies who don't care what they put in their food have a hold on people like Jaclyn, who have the need to comfort themselves in this way. It is not your fault....they designed their foods to be addictive....they cared about you coming back again and again, not about how m ay times you'd have to reevaluate your health. Jaclyn, I'm rooting for you, but I do hope that you earnestly put in the effort if this is truly about your health and not for clout. If you are are sweating profusely from just walking, that's genuinely a thing to be conconcered about and the minimum way you can tackle that is by doing it every day. If you have time to get your nails done and do your makeup and go on have time to go for a 30 min walk...and please guys, don't condemn me for being more firm with how I choose to support Jaclyn. I'm on my own weight loss journey and consistency is the key to all real change, especially with the body and mind. I want to see you, Jaclyn, earnestly put in the effort rather than mainly vlog about wanting to do something the entire time. This first episode portrays you already overthinking the process and doing most of the heavy lifting in your head rather than in the gym, so to speak. But hey, it's only week 1 and I'll keep watching for updates on this journey. Genuinely, I hope you get healthier and potentially seek out therapeutic advice on why this need to constantly have food in your mouth exists. Anything can be addictive and food is a big one, especially for Americans and especially for people who always have the money to access all the food they could possibly want, as you do now. Praying for you. Don't just not give up, don't give in 🙏

Casual, not very frequent watcher. This was super relatable! I recently lost about 16 lbs, accepted that I would never be 135 again (like really- even changes the weight on my drivers license). And honestly, I did it with weight watchers. I loved it. Just a thought in case a few weeks in, you find yourself struggling. Their app made it super easy for me (you can look up restaurants and their meals that you might get on Uber eats!) and scan barcodes on food at the store. Just a lot less guess work. The social media aspect of the app also was inspiring. Took me about three months. I told myself I’d give it three weeks to see if it was worth jt. I lost six pounds and it gave me SO much motivation to keep going.
